Welcome to Our Farm!
We strive to contribute to the health and well-being of our people, our land and our animals.
We are the Biggs Family! Brett, Lindsay, Keller, Lainey, Baylor and about 70 animals named various Disney inspired names. We moved to Platteville, Colorado 2 years ago with a desire to provide our kids with a place to just be…kids. Once we settled down we began to dream of using the land we have to bring high quality products to our community and to feed and nourish people we love. And Biggs Little Farm was born.
Currently, we have a flock of 60 laying hens for non-gmo, free range, organic eggs sold by the dozen. We are raising 3 registered Nigerian Dwarf goats for breeding purposes and to provide milk in Spring of 2024. We have established gardens of fruits, vegetables and hand cut flowers and are hoping to add pollinating bees in an apiary soon. As we look ahead, we are hoping to add a micro dairy to our already existing beautiful barn and pasture.
We are learning more and more every day about how to hobby farm and hoping to bring our community with us for the ride. Stay tuned for more updates of our website and for the adventures to be had!
